So I've been thinking of letting my Kemper go lately. I originally got it to cure amp gas and for just messing around. Today I profiled my Dirty Shirley and used the profile for a quick recording. It actually actually sounded more like the real deal once I added an Ownhammer IR to it. I may hold on to it a little longer if I can get my high gain amps to sound good too. Enjoy!

Classic rock rhythm tone with some of that extra smooth.

That's the way we like it!

Sounds rockin to me, are you just running the profile without a cab and then adding the impulse in your DAW or did you import that impulse into your Kemper with the cabmaker tool?

THanks Inearthed! Kemper's updated rig manager now allows you to drag IR's straight in it and then just drag those IRs into the cab block. Also Rig manager is also an editor now and allows you to tweak ALL your Kemper settings thru it like a Helix or something. Super handy.

Oh damn, nice, I’ll need to update mine finally then. I have held off since people were always complaining of issues but that functionality is what I’ve been looking for

Good to hear you decided to hold onto the Kemper, it definitely has it's place. I would've done the same.

When you said Ownhammer, are you talking the Heavy Titters Pack Vol. 1? Sure sounds like it.

:)

Damn man you make the most ENTERTAINING VIDEOS!!
Sounds fantastic!!

Nice work, nice tones!

Ownhammer do good stuff, what did you end up using?

Great job as always and great mix.

Didn't you say you have a repository or website for vids that you pull from and if so, how do you go about finding the right material, timing, themes etc?

Sorry for the late replies guys! My wife and kids have been busting my balls since this whole quarantine thing started

Thanks aside! I used a v30 blended cab OH 412 DZL+MAR V30 CUT+121.wav. I liked how the ones with "CUT" were sounding with it so I went with it.

I just pull from youtube usually or my own ripped movie collection. For me when I'm mixing I kind of get a visual in my head of what would go good with it or a topic/idea that I will just search for in youtube. I thought I'd eventually run out of ideas but so far so good
