MURDERATOR
Neighbor called and asked me if I wanted a guitar…. His dogs knocked it over and snapped the headstock. Looked like a perfect break as a candidate for repair. Slathered it with wood glue and clamped it. Seems solid after about 30 hours. My daughter said she would like to have it so say no more. New paint job incoming. Removed everything…cleaned it, sanded it down…. Filled the cracks with wood filler and i think she’s about ready for painting. Should I drill it and put a couple dowels in or you guys think it’s good? IMG_4994.jpeg

You know, in that first picture, I couldn't even see the Epiphone due to the Neo Soul purple halo around that vibe tool next to it...

Then I scrolled down to see that bad ass headstock repair...

I have 2 set neck guitars, an Edwards John Sykes Les Paul, and a Yamaha SF-5000... Both scare the hell out of me for that

Putting in some splines would make it stronger, but i doubt it really needs it.
Is that the Goth model? Black hardware and that symbol on the headstock makes me think so.
Those cheap Epis can be great players. I'm guessing set neck?

Yes to all of the above ☝️ I was going to do the neck as well but it feels great as is so I taped it off. The crack will be painted so I think it will be good. Did a final layer of filler and I will let it dry all night. Final sand, final clean, then wipe down with OH or mineral spirits and spray it down…..

Very nice work! All I can say though because even though you were wearing clean socks, feet in gear pics is a cringe thing for me. If you were selling, I'm not buying with feet in the pics. :)
