My local techmod guy Kevin Miles put in a loop on my Tiny Terror (basic passive loop) and I am more than pleased with it. Unfortunately it doesn't like my M13 but worked fine with a friends Hardwired rv-7. If anyone is in the central Iowa area and needs good cheap tech work email Kevin at 493dart@gmail.com. I am most likely going to get a delay for the loop of this amp but having the loop in there sure opens up a lot of possibilities.

Do you have any pictures of the mod, just curious where your tech put the jacks?

Also, I assume it doesn't like the M13 since its not line level, you might be able to have a switch that switches the loop between instrument and line level...

I can take some pics, they are right on the back in the middle. The weird thing is I tried an alesis midiverb which I think is line level and that sucked too! If I put in just a tube screamer or something it doesn't have the same issue. I thought about a buffer of some sort but i'm not sure I want to drop the extra cash or not on my backup amp.

Here are pics of the loop, note he had to use plastic jacks to keep it from grounding on the chassis.

Got any pics of the actual FX Loop inside?

If it's a passive insert Loop (simply two jacks breaking the connection between Preamp and Poweramp) then it will be hit or miss when using FX with it, unless you use an external buffer circuit like a Klein-ulator or Vox V941 Loop Buffer.

no sorry I don't but it is a passive insert loop and you are right. After trying out a bunch of effects and doing some research it's just picky. I have something that works for what I need though and if I ever want to use my full board with it I can get one of those buffers.

Yeah an FX Loop buffer unit would work really well, should you ever need to use other units.

If you're handy with a soldering iron you could even build a Kleinulator yourself  Simple design and cheap to build!
