These are at the NAMM show on display, I will post pics in the namm thread shortly.

They didn't....really. Kinda, once before, but it never really took off.

I've heard a LOT of great things about these, and a lot of great clips of the prototypes.

I want one of these in my hands NOW haha. I'm glad I'm broke.

Why would anyone want one? I'm sure they're just as dead and lifeless, have no vibe, mojo, etc, etc, as any PRS electric.

I figured I'd say it first.

Angelus is Latin for angel. Yeah, an oversight on PRS' part naming the guitar, someone there shoulda caught it. Caparison isn't exactly a well known company outside of boards like this and those of us huge into gear. Ask any average dude shopping @GC and he'll have no clue what you're talking about.

I think they look great, probably play great.... but sound like shit.

With Taylor making electrics and PRS now making acoustics it seemed like the 2 should have just paired up.

Next we will see a Solid body electric from Martin....

They have yet to make anything I'd be interested in, and this will not change that. PRS=way over priced average guitars imho.

I could personally say the same thing about Gibson. Different stokes for different folks.

Oh, I totally agree! I prefer my Carvin TL60 to ANY Gibson(and I've literally played thousands) or PRS.

The few Carvins I've played have sat in my hands almost as nicely as my Custom 22. I think I got lucky with my CU22 though. I haven't played another one that fits my hands that well. The only PRS I've had contact with that has come close has been a Mira and our other guitarist's '01 Singlecut.

I'd like to see the price on these. If they're priced competitively with Taylor and Breedlove (my favorite acoustics by far) then I'll definitely be interested. The Taylors I've played feel really nice, but sound a little too compressed for me. The Breedloves I've played I REALLY like overall, though they seem to be lacking something in their sound, and are really expensive. I've seed a vid of Eric Johnson playing one of the production PRS Acoustics, and it sounded GREAT. Like I said, if they're priced competitively with those 2 brands, then I'll jump all over one.

I dont see exactly what is "average". Ive owned 4 PRSi in the past and played many at stores, the build quality and attention to detail is unmatched in terms of a mass produced guitar. And with the different models and aftermarket pickups out there you can get just about any sound out of them you want. At that point it only comes down aesthetics and ergonomics, which of course are purely personal.

I really want to like PRS. They are beautiful guitars. But I can't stand the way they feel. Carvin FTW!

Well, you not liking how they feel does not make them average instruments. I think Carvin would agree seeing as how they have copied the PRS design with the California Carve Top.
