I am probably going to end up keeping my PRS CE22 it looks like, and I am contemplating installing a Floyd rose on it. I have seen it done before, but I don't know that I feel comfortable doing it myself. can anyone recommend someone or some place to send the guitar too, to have one installed ? I would only want it set up to be a dive only deal, so it doesn't need a full on cavity route. coming from the wolfgang family of guitars I like the Floyd rose trems and the way they feel but only use them for dive only purposes.

thanks
mike

Call around to local techs or guitar builder and see if they have a template for it. I was in Mike lulls shop in Bellevue and i watched him monkey around with a template for a 7 string floyd rose for a korean prs guitar.

I have already checked around the area for local techs, but I haven't been able to find anyone I would trust to do this type of work. hoping to find someone reputable to send the guitar too.

Routing for the trem is an easy process that any competent luthier should be able to do. That being said, routing and installing a locknut on their would be quite a bit more difficult than the trem route.
