What’s the difference between CE and SE?
What does CE and SE stand for?

Cheers!

The no discontinued CE series were made in the US factory. They are every bit as good as the Customs, just with a bolt on neck. The SE's are made in ???? asia somewhere. I have two CE's ('94 22 and a '92 24), and I actually prefer the sound and feel of the CE's to the customs I've played. :thumbsup:

Big difference to me. Se's are the entry level guitars, while very nice for entry level, the CE's are more like PRS higher end guitars, just with a bolt on neck. I have a CE and it is a fantastic guitar

the SE is made in korea by the schecter factory
had a SE custom 22, and it was a good guitar, but had a fake photoflame top (it didn't even had any kind of maple layer) and it wasn't no near as good as the two mccarties I had

CE = Classic Electric
i love my 1990 alderbody CE24.its plain jain black with no fancy flames/quilt or birds.

SE = Student edition?
good guitars for the price. ive owned a tremonti SE. i hate glossy necks but this one had a great neck
crappy pickups and electronics thou.
