Cool amps. Well built. Definitely worth the price.

I've had the 50 twice. Loved it, but wanted the big boy. But, $1600+ for the 120 wasn't a realistic for MIC. $1199 sounds better!

Randall is going under? Not that I am overly supprised I guess. They fell too far under the radar to recover a while ago. Bummer. Oh well life shall go on.

I'm just speculating. They sure are doing some dumb shit. They jacked the price up in the 100 watt Diavlo to $999, lowered the price on the RD45H to blowout levels, and now some sights have them listed at $849, (they were $649 for the past 3 years). I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer. They haven't released anything since 2013, have nothing on the horizon, and they are just a plain joke. They shot themselves in the foot with the Fortin shenanigans, (when they announced the partnership, they stated they were releasing amps "Built in North America", only to build them in China), dropped the ball on production, never had stock, and just totally screwed the pooch. They are a hot mess of a company.

This said, I may grab a Thrasher 120 at $1199!

No kidding. They have been dead in the water for a while. If a business can't stay relevant they can't stay in business. Peavey is becoming a joke now too. No decent designs for a decade and a flooded (or flooding) market full of used stuff.

I have the 120 and think its a great amp. At that price, if you are considering a Thrasher, grab it

How close are these to the original Natas? Has anyone ever gotten to compare?

Peavey's been relying on the 6505 for years and years now, and at this point the used market is so saturated with 6505s it's foolish to buy a new one. EVH at least has had the good sense to release all sorts of variants of the 5150 III, and I assume at some point we'll see the 5150 IV.

Peavey released that Misha V 5150 amp. That was pretty cool on paper with modern options as well as mini heads. They also rereleased Wolfgangs as HP2. So they may suck in some ways, but they have put out products

The price on the Misha are prohibitive considering other options. IMO at least.

Yeah, $1999 is ridiculous, as is $1629 for the Thrasher. $1199 seemed reasonable, so I jumped on it. I loved the 50, I can only imagine the 120 will sound that much fatter.

Even Thomann is not carrying their amps anymore so what you're saying is probably happening. It's sad tbh but they have been kinda quiet after the Fortin stuff.

Is Randall still tagged up with Washburn? I wonder if they are going down too. A lot of silence from them too in the last decade. They used to make some decent guitars. I have not owned one for a decade though.

Yeah, I believe so. U.S. Music Corp has basically run them both into the ground.

Washburn hasn't put out anything that I was hyped up a bit since Dime models back 15+ years ago. Then he went to Dean and bang, final nail in the coffin.

Now Dean's milking the Dime name, and has ever since. That's another company that hasn't really done much, though they made a decent launch last year. I've been looking at those Z Selects, haven't read much feedback on them.
