PT-100 for the rest of us....... :(

U guys have probably seen that vid of the Pt-100 and the OD-100--super tones, best i have ever heard.
So, till i wait and save money for the real thing, is there any Randall/Egnator module, custom modded maybe, which can come close to those tones ?

And i do realize that $3K can not be had for $300.......just wondering if something comes close....

Any advice would be appreciated.

This is true. I just did a gig last weekend with a Riot into a Deluxe Reverb! It was pretty shocking how good it sounded.

A pedal similar to the Riot is the Lovepedal Purple Plexi. Run into something totally clean and get surprising results. When I had a little Dr. Z combo, I used to use it and it sounded awesome. Seems the Riot is similar.

Am not denying how great the Riot sounds, i myself have not played it yet. However, its interesting that in that vid clip, Mark is playing through an OD100's clean channel. I wonder how much of a role that circuitry play sin achieving the OD100 channel 2 sound via the Riot.

I have a Peavey 5150 (lame clean channel) and a Marshall JMP-1 preamp through the 5150's power section.
How would the riot sound through this rig ? Any idea ?

The clean channel of the OD is not unlike a BF Twin or Super Reverb so any super clean channel will work especially into a 4x12

Just bought a Riot and a Shiba. I couldn't bond with either pedal at all. On the other hand I loved the Koko Boost.
