Pulling Tubes in a Modern Classic 100w

Hey Guys,

Just had one of the power tubes die in my Wizard Modern Classic 1 yesterday afternoon and probably wont get a chance to pickup any replacements for a little while.

Is anyone aware if you can pull tubes on the MC-1's to run them at 50w?

Also on that, with the wizard and biasing, I'm guessing still need to have a matched quad of Power Tubes when I do replace them?

Thanks for any replies!

Hey Matt,

Yeah you can run it like a 50 watter, pull out the two tubes in the middle or the two outer tubes. Remember to set the ohm at 8 if you have a 16 ohm cab and 4 with a 8 ohm cab.
