Its a masterpiece. Very vocal oriented. Guitars sound a lot more "standard" on this album, and less dark and fuzzy. The song Vampyre of Time and Memory is fucking fantastic. Definitely my favorite release so far this year.

One of my favorites to be released in the last few years. Great freakin album!!

Homme is Mick AND Keef and the Ginger Elvis...love this record. "I sat by the ocean" and "Smooth Sailing" are my current faves.

Letterman liked 'em so much he had them on two nights in a row.

Notice John Theodore from Mars Volta on the skins. ;)

Love that album...feels like a real album, unlike a lot of stuff that comes out these days...

This and "the devil put dinosaurs" are the 2 CDs in most rotation at my desk and in my car.

Love 'em.

"...like clockwork" is seriously well done - start to finish, like a great movie - it's awesome. Fantastic hooks, fantastic vocal showmanship; great slop in the right spots; great tight when it's just right.

Brill.

I'm digging the second half of the album quite a bit now.

Very cool indeed!!!

Thanks for posting this .........Now I gotta go out and get it :rawk:

This song is a real trip.
It melts into My God Is The Sun perfectly. The ghost like voices that connect the two songs together on the album totally freaks me out. That is what I imagine actual spirts or poltergeists sound like. The voices change, linger and pulsate. Gives me chills.
