So talking to Bad.Seed today reminded me to try the quad cortex with my PA50 and I got to admit once you get the volume up I can't tell the difference between the modeler or the amp. I'm usually the guy who says "they are close but not quite" but honestly I really couldn't tell much of a difference in feel or tone.

I'm going to profile my Mark IV tomorrow and see what happens. I really don't think it can match that one but hopefully I can put it to rest in my mind.

Yeah man I need to try this with my QC/PS100
I need to try it with my ps2. I just got rack mount kit for it and ordered a rack and the rack showed up without the parts to assemble it.

You inspired me to build a rack so I'm going to put the fryette and maybe my colossus preamp in it. Then maybe a drawer for pedals

Yessss!

I ran a couple of my captures through the power amp of a little DSL20HR just for fun, and about shit my pants when I heard and felt what was coming out of the speakers.

I literally set my phone up and did a shitty live stream right then and there because I was so blown away by what I was hearing. My SLO capture, particularly, felt and sounded incredible. I am hyped on the QC for sure.

Have you tried it for bass tones yet? Gawd I love that so much. I am really happy with the QC so far.

Stumbled over something cool with the QC just now.
I had a laptop hooked up to it via USB so I could try some Neural plug-ins.
Left it plugged that way and switched over to jamming along with my Amazon music.

 (y)

I now have two options for audio output for the PC music - Realtek or the QC.
Chose the QC and BAM! the AMZ music is playing through my guitar cab (and sounding just fine)
There's no weird separation between what I was playing in mono and what the PC monitors were playing in stereo.

So f-ing cool and makes jamming along to tunes even more enjoyable.

The more I read up on it - the QC has a really, really good audio engine.
