Questions on amp cleaning, and noise reduction

Just picked up a Soldano Avenger 100, it's awesome. But I've got a few general questions I was hoping you guys could answer.

The interior of the amp where the tubes/transformers are is fairly dusty, can I use a can of compressed air to clean the dust out of an amp?

And, I have a Decimator II G String that I use with my other head, that head has an FX loop. The Avenger does not, and I'm getting quite a bit of noise - is there any way to use a Dec G String with no loop? I'm assuming the answer is no, or not easily, but figured I'd ask.

Compressed air should be fine. Just hold it upright when spraying it.

From memory that amp shouldn't really be too noisey. Your g string probably won't help up front unless its your guitar providing the noise. How much noise is there when the guitar isn't plugged in? If there is a lot I would check the tubes.

I recommend using a vacuum or shop vac with an attachment on it first.

This is probably a better idea. Using the can may push dust down into the chasis through holes or tube sucket cutouts.

My guitar is pretty noisy actually. That would be worth trying. Which connectors would it be? Guitar in and guitar out?

And I'm guessing bridge Dec In and Dec Out to each other?

Guitar in and out. No idea on the other jacks. Do you have to hook them together when just usung the guitar only? I've never owned a dec ii.
