Quick Blades Firebolt first impression

I just shot a quick low volume demo of my Firebolt 50. I'm running a Gibson Les Paul Standard faded with a Duncan distortion bridge through a Kress 2x12 with a Splawn small block and big block combo. I have everything at noon including the rear controls for depth and voicing. Volume is just loud enough to not hear the guitar strings much. Recorded with a zoom q3. Just a quick demo to hear how it sounds, no fancy playing just showing what it sounds like straight out of the box which is pretty good. The switches were set to vintage mid, lo od boost, gain structure hi. Straight in nothing in the loop.

It really does sound good. I got a great deal on it used and had to try it out. It's got a ton of options but I wanted to just get a quick how it sounds straight out of the box without much messing around.

I would like to check one out although I would not buy one as I have two amps that cover that sound and then some.

People keep saying they are great deals used on these. What are they going for?

I paid under 1k. The guy I got it from cut me a little better deal because we know each other. I've been messing with it and there are a lot of tones in here. I would say that Mike Himmel video is a good representation of the tones available. I believe this is the lowest gain offering from Billy but it has more than I would ever use. Takes pedals extremely well. If you can find a deal on one I would jump on it. Not starting a flame war just trying to give you an accurate sound sample. I had a lot of messages asking for clips so there you have it. Straight in and controls at noon other than volume.

Not sounding so good on my head phones. Perhaps there is something wrong with my computer ? Very trebly and zero low end. Regardless if it is the flavor of the month. I am not feeling it.

I don't know what to tell you. I hear plenty of low end and a normal high end. Oh well, clips are subjective.
