I came across a used Bogner Uberschall 4x12 Cabinet loaded with 2 Celestion Vintage 30s and 2 Celestion G12T75s for $350.00. I don't no much about this cab but I am thinking it is a good deal.
Cosmetically it has has some minor tears and scuff up. I wanted to get a Friedman cab loaded with BM75 to go with my Friedman Naked. Now I am wondering if this Bogner cab is to good to pass up for the price.
I though I run it by you all and see what you think.

I'd buy an Uberkab for $350 if I could find one anywhere near me. Wouldn't even think about it.

That seems almost too good to be true honestly. Def worth looking into, I'd take back the back off and check the speakers myself.

Here is a pic of the cab. Looks legit.

That cab is in pretty good shape, $350 is a nice price, I would grab it

It's an older cab, first and foremost - as the bolted back assumes rear loaded drivers. I am almost 100% certain the UberKabs of recent years are front loaded.

That said, if it is an authentic Bogner cabinet regardless of front or rear loading - $350 is a fkn steal.

I'd offer him $300 cash and run with it :D

I did offer him $300.00. He was originally asking $450.00. Also he said speakers are in excellent condition.

I have two basket weave Bogner cabs, something looks wrong to me in that pic on the basket weave I think that may be an avatar cab wih a Bogner logo. Not certain but basket weave looks wrong to me.

Yea I been looking at pics on the web trying to figure exactly that out. Bogner or Avatar.

Can't tell you if the cab is legit but I can tell you that it's not an Uberkab, although it's loaded like one with the 30/75 combination, assuming they're in an X pattern. A true Uberkab has the black grill cloth.

Grillcloth looks avatar, may just be the pic, but back panel screw combo is Bogner.

Possibly an Uber that had grill cloth changed out.

The Uber's had black grill cloth, and Bogner's regular cabs had wheat, although the actual cab construction was supposedly the same.

I have read that the only difference between the two cabs is the grill cloth and speakers.

The rear bolt pattern defintitely "looks" Bogner, but go look at it if he is close by and see if it has the white poly-fil stuff on back panel.

This sounds like a thread I had last week.

The opinions were 50/50 if it was legit or not. Turns out it is legit. Depends on how old the cab is but that is not an Uber cab, looks like the regular one. And remember, Bogner doesn't make their own cabs.

But that cab isn't an Avatar. Here's the back of an Avatar.

I'll check it out I guess. It's not far from me. I'm still undecided.
Thanks everyone for your help and input!

You could order an uber with wheat grille, I did, compare the grille, its in the for sale thread.
