Hey rack-masters, I'm looking for a rack-drawer that I can use to hold my pedals. I'm probably going to move to a GCX/Ground Control Pro setup, but I have no idea what sort of rack drawer would be best.

I know I don't want velcro, because it always seems like the velcro pads on my pedals are coming off, or the velcro itself isn't sticking to the carpet on my pedalboard. I'm thinking zip-ties might work well, but I would need a drawer with holes in the bottom to tie the pedals down (or I'd need to get out the power drill action :D). Here's what my setup would look like in the end:

Visual Sound H20, BB Preamp, Mini DejaVibe, Digitech Hardwire RV-7 ->
GCX switcher with isolated loops for amp FX loop and front end FX, plus one loop to switch channels on my Guytron->
Guytron GT100 front end and FX loop.

At some point, I may ditch the H20 and Digitech reverb for an AXE-FX, which I would try to set up so that I can switch between the Guytron's preamp section, and the AFX running into the Guytron's power section. I'd also be using the AFX for FX through the Guytron's loop with a very small pedalboard for wah and tuner.

Really, I'm in the market for the whole rack setup at this point, so I'm open to suggestions in any arena. I'm trying to keep the total costs for the rack + switching system + power around $1200. Portability and ease of stage setup is also paramount.

And, of course, everything must be switchable with the Ground Control Pro (barring wah and tuner, of course). Ideas?

Works great for me.

3M double-sided tape, or any brand for that matter will work much better than velcro.

You can use it to anchor your pedals and use small pieces to stick your cables to once you

get them cut to length.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go George L or Lava for my wiring. I work in IT, so cable management is not an issue for me

I know some people rag on the George L's for being "bright", but I see them as "hi-fi". They work well with my setup since the Guytron is already a dark and thick amp.
