I am looking for a rack mount eq that is MIDI controllable and the only one I find made today is the Alesis DEQ830. I know that Rocktron had the Pro-Q and Rane made a few differnent ones the mpe 14 and 28. Looking to use this in a rack rig. It seems hard to find a Rane or Rocktron these days.

Are there any other options out there?

Not exactly a "rack"" unit. $169.99

mEQ : MIDI Controlled Equalizer

The mEQ gives you the power of 20 EQ patches

* 20 patches controlled by MIDI program change commands
* 100% analog signal path
* Volume/Level setting for each patch
* Volume (attenuation) and all frequencies can be changed on the fly with an expression pedal using MIDI controller change commands
* Uses a relay for True Bypassing
* Frequencies: 100Hz, 280Hz, 800Hz, 2300Hz and 6600Hz. Custom frequency bands upon request

That's is pretty cool. I had never come across that one. I'll put that on the consideration list for sure.

TC Electronics 1128 is the final answer.

That is definitely an impressive rack EQ. Maybe a bit out of my price range if I could even find one.

ashly Protea. 4 channels (at one time) with 128 banks per channel. 31 digital band.

might be over kill, it is a PA eq.

yes. Great for PA, but way too much for a guitar rig.

I'll keep an eye out for one. That would be a good price. I looked and didn't see any right now.

I came here to recommend that.
