Fish with Cantrell Mod and JMP-1 powered by a VHT 2/50/2. Routing with a GCX and isolation/phase A/B/Y control with a Little Labs PCP Distro. Intellifex and PQ3 for stuff. Now, I just got to wire it up. I wish I was in LA right now to drop this off at Friedman's place. Wiring up a rack and getting the bugs out rates up there with Thanksgiving at the in-laws and painting a house. :D

Cool rig...those original Intellifex units are still awesome all these years later.

Do you use the PQ3 w/ those settings? if so what do you use it with?

I used it last with my Suhr Aldrich in an outdoor gig. Ran it through the loop always on. Yes, probably was those settings.

not many women have a better rack than that and not many men either...

Hey Steve:

Thought we could compare.

Here's one of my racks. Some similarities to yours.

Funny you have the Intellifex. As you can see, I have a Replifex. I love both of those units. I decided to stick with the Replifex though, as I dig the vintage pedal-style tones it puts out for effects like flange, phase, chorus, etc. Verbs aren't great but I find them perfectly workable when you dial down the high end on them. Another great feature of the unit! Probably would be nice to have an Intellifex as well, to use solely for delay, reverb and hi-fi chorusing.

I sold the second M4 recently and it will be shipping out next week. Thinking of picking up a Soldano X88 to slide in its place.

Tell me more about the Cantrell mod!

Only thing that sucks about a big rack is that it sits at the rehearsal hall most of the time. It's not exactly easy to move around! I had to pick up a Gorilla for home noodling! ;)

I'm not so sure I would haul the rack around. I like to noodle around the house with them though. I have some smaller racks for gigs just still a few things, depending on what head(s) I take. If I take one head, then I used a pedalboard with the pedals run up front. All I use really is a couple of delay settings, and SD-1 and a wah. If I take two heads, I usually take the Intellifex and run a W/D set up with the I'fex run through the loop of one amp. All of it sort of depends on how many cabs I want to haul, venue, etc. With the Intellifex, I use a couple of the delay presets and the octave shift, just to thicken things up a a bit.

Yeah, I hear ya. The rack makes it out to the occasional big gig but, as mentioned, it's mainly my rehearsal rig.

More often, I use heads live and run a simple pedalboard:

Guitar --> Xotic BB+ --> Boss DD3 --> Diamond Tremolo --> Crybaby 535Q Wah (Chrome) --> Korg Pitchblack --> Amp.

I know, I know, what the hell is the wah doing at the end of the signal chain? Two reasons:
(1) I prefer to "wah" my delays as well, as I don't like when you have a bright delayed signal playing over your "heel down" wah position; and
(2) I use the wah with my left leg, so it makes sense logistically.

Hey man, give it a try. It gives you a whole different perspective. Anyways, I rarely use the delay, so it's a non-issue.

As for the appendage: atleast it's not the middle leg......

HAHAHA. Well, I rarely use a wah, and usually always kick in a little short delay on solo's or some other melodic stuff. The new TC pedal is great for that. One reason I won't run a wah after OD and other pedals is because a wah doesn't take too well being run after a buffered pedal.

If am running one head, without any rack stuff, my pedalboard will be INTERFACE->WAH->Keeley modded Boss SD-1->TCE Chorus->TCE Delay-HBE DETOX
