Here is a pedal board I did for session guitarist Greg Leisz. Greg is a fantastic player and specializes in alternate instruments and pedal steel. His work has been on everything from Smashing Pumpkins to Ryan Adams to Emmylou Harris. Signal path is vol,Providence comp, Retrosonic phase,Tortuga Yeti,Naked overdrive,Xts Precision overdrive,Fulltone OCD,Boss tu2, Diamond term and Strymon Brigadier, ola and Blue Sky reverb. Well standouts are really everything. The Diamond term is especially cool. Enjoy.

Just a Dunlop Volume Pedal I believe.

Nice and clean! Nothing like perfect routed cables and wiring

Sweet board, and top-notch pedals all the way around.

Yes of course made to length.

Hmmm, So how are these cables assembled?
My guess is that they are measured, fed to where they need to go, cut and then have the ends soldered...

Sound reasonable?

I was asking about the small 9vdc power cables. Are those soldered?

Questions. Are the cables so short that I wouldn't be able to change a pedal real quick if I wanted to?

And why are the pedals so close together? I'd have to pull the pedal off the board just to pull out a cable, correct?

Why not make the board a couple inches wider and give it some space between the pedals for guys like me with size 13's?

And why are the rows so close together? I know I'd completely knock the phaser out of whack when I kick on the tremolo? There's a ton of space at the top of that board.

Seems like a terrible layout to me.

Honest questions man.

Well there was only so much space on that size board. This close stuff is very common on all the boards I have ever done. No one has ever said anything in fact they always want to add another pedal and make it even tighter. As far as the cables they are looped around so you can change a pedal because you have slack. The back row can't go back much further because of the tuner and I don't like getting power plugs to close to the edge. Also as a client I lay the board out with you for your needs so if was yours it would be different.

My large board is about that same size and I have the tuner turned sideways as well as another pedal. Seems like a waste to have all that real estate up there. Just turn the tuner. Or at least push the tuner and tremolo up an inch and a half or so and push the Brigadier, Ola and Blue Sky up towards the top of the board.

Just some thoughts.

Very nice - as always. Good point too, room to expand is key, but having no room is just that - a ceiling.

Super clean though, I like it.
