Ouch, face down on the asphalt :gethim:

LOL

Wasn`t he using a TC Nova System?

Nice rig.

Chris

I thought he was using an Axe-Fx?

more than one rig is my guess.

Gahhh! Get it off the pavement! You're gonna get it all scratched up!

That the new smallbox version of the PlexiTone ? Details ?

Probably one of his road boards seeing as there is a rehoused? carl martin plexi tone (one side of that pedal??) and a box of rock. Probably can get a good sound through a fender or decent clean channel.

Many men "stomp" on their fx and they get scratched, not seeing the issue here?

The OCD side of me is very pleased seeing all the cables neat and tidy

Basically, I designed this rig to be able to do almost everything my w/d/w 12 space rack rig can do, just with less stuff, and with a couple real cool features-

The output of the Musicom is on the side of the board, as are ins and outs to get into
-the RJM midi A/B box
-the Strymon and M9

So, I can use:
1) A simple one channel amp and use either everything in front or the Musicom in front and the strymon and M9 in the loop... getting my gain from pedals

2) my PT100, or 2 PT's in stereo, switching channels an boosts via the relay switching in the Musicom and running the Timeline and M9 in the loop

3) 2 vintage style amps (say an ac30 type and a plexi type) with all the effects in front, using the RJM a/b to switch from amp to amp or have both on at once.

So it's just very versatile, because of the patching on the side, the ability to switch channels with the Musicom, and the Midi A/B box.

Basically this is a rig I can still fit in my car, that has huge power, although not as much as a W/D/W rig. But I've kind of tired of the W/D/W thing a bit and just wanted something simpler that I can still do stereo with.

Been programming for 2 days, getting some killer sounds, and I've already switched some pedals out- an Analog Man KOT replaced the Box Of Rock, a Boss Hyper Fuzz replaced the Clinch Fuzz (unfortunate, but I just can't get the Clinch one to play nice when buffered... it sounds AMAZING though),
an Abunai 2 replaced the Eternity (I've gone back and forth on these for years) and I have an AC tone where the Plexitone is now, and these will get switched out often depending on what I'm doing.

First gigs with this board are in a couple weeks! Detroit and Minneapolis.. It'll be the PT100 in stereo with 2 rental cabs and ill probably use one side of my Atomic 50/50 for the other stereo channel.

And I concur with the choice to put in the KOT! Looks great, bet it sounds even better!

timeline over el cap? so the TL is close enough on the tape delay for you?

have you had a chance to hear the vertex plexitone in person yet?

yep close enough, and does 800 other things too. It's GREAT. I use the dual delay mostly, that's part of my thing- on my "stock" patches (ones I use on lots of songs) i usually use a delay with mix on an expression pedal so I can blend it in, 500 ms on one side 250 on the other, and i have it on tap tempo so I can lock to the song.

I also (so far) use the dTape, dBucket, Ice, pattern, and digital on specific presets that call for them.

Have not heard the vertex....

Pete, awesome board!!! One question: why did you go with the M9 instead of the Nova System?
