I ordered a used 667 in mint condition from guitar center and when it arrived there were 2 severe cracks in the headshell, so I returned it and it seemed to be well packed. I also once saw a used Thrasher at a guitar center that was mint except for again similar cracks on the side of the headshell. Luckily, the thrasher I bought used is in totally mint condition, but I'm definitely very skeptical about the quality of the shells. All the ones I've tried though (Thrasher, Satan, 667) sounded great and I prefer their sound over plenty of amps that are way more expensive.

I have the 667 and it feels incredibly solid. If your looking to buy one hit me up. I have one loaded with all high end EL-34's ready to go here.
Why are you selling it? Just curious...

I have no dog in the fight and have NO experience at all with these because I have never even seen one in person but...From what I have read and heard, aren't these made in China with cheaper parts to save cost?

If so, I would also be worried about the quality. I am however not as hardcore as alot of people when it comes to clean builds and top notch German or USA, etc etc.

But I have heard alot of clips from that new line of Randall including the 667 which sounded really really good and to me that is what matters, the sound.

Do not abuse your amp and you probably wont have any issues. They have been out long enough to pass the general public QC test imo. There may be a few weak shells that could have been abused by the owner perhaps but I don't think they have a big track record of bad things happening like Early Bugera did so if it were me and the price was right, I would simply not worry about it, make sure the one I bought was in tact and just take care of my amp.
