Anyone get to try or hear the Randall Lynch box lb103?? I see it in a few of his latest you tube clips, sounds pretty good if he is actually using it.

The whole Lynchbox series has just not had much love except for maybe a couple dozen people in the world it seems. Most hang on grailtone.
I have the original Lynchbox, but mine was modded by Friedman right off the bat. Love it, but it's not relevant too much to the topic, sorry.

Hey cnote, what did Friedman do to your LB? I have an original as well and I remember posting and asking him what Lynch had done to his LB's and he said nothing, bone stock. So i am left wondering what Friedman did? As for the new generation LB, make sure you like the Judge module or sound of it first as to me, I am not a huge fan of it's voicing but it has it's place. That new series is essentially three of his modules hardwired into the amp. I would think that the amp is a bit of a sleeper considering you get a clean channel that crunches up when turned up, a hot rodded channel (Judge) and the Grail higher gain channel which was Randall's take on a recto.

I think someone (thought it was Curt) posted a demo of one a while back here and it sounded really bad ass.
I owned 2 of the Original Lynch Box with the MTS modules. Had Dave Friedman mod quite a few of them.
The modded Brahma module is still one of my all time favorite tones.
