Yeah, I saw that..... wonder what it'll sound like, and cost?

Looks like Randall listened to what people were asking for.

I'm hoping it's a Mesa Mk module and not a Randall solid state module.

Check out Micheal Wageners rack

saw that too..... WOW!

Not a tone he couldn't achieve with that set-up, I know he's got some Pete, and Salvationmods in there, does he have any of Friedmans?

Hows that black eye? I'm trying to get back into the MTS stuff, and that one has caught my eye.

Honestly it's my favorite module I have tried. Glad I own it!!
When I a/b'd my Randall RM100KH with bstaleys Egie preamp(m4?) into the VHT 50 watt power amp. my amp was really thin. Either his stuff is simply that much better or the powertubes that came in my amp are terrible sounding. Mine came with JJ 6L6s. I think Bill's VHT has Svet 6550s. Gotta try new tubes in it.

i played a combo with the plexi module last week and it sounded fantastic

Me and ratter went to bstaleys house the other month. We played his SL module and it was friggin sweet.

From the owner of the bottom SLO module...
The bottom module in the last pic is mine. Anthony calls it the "Triple Mod" because it has a third voicing switch that switches SLO / DualRec / DualRec + Blast modes. I just received the module a few days ago and it screams! SLO mode has that Soldano bite and midrange. DualRec mode changes the mids slightly and is also a killer sound. Both overdrive modes sound as thick and defined as my Egnater E'Rect. As a matter of fact, with EMG's anything past 7 is too much gain. The Crunch modes are more than just a bonus, they sound fantastic. Crunch mode activates the three way Bite switch with dirty clean (SRV), more dirt, and crunch. The crunch setting is my favorite. Raw like a Plexi but with the Soldano bite.

Excellent workmanship, quality components, and a killer faceplate. Anthony, I can't thank you enough.
If you're a fan of the Soldano sound, you should definitely check one out.

Looks like it should cover the Ultra, Ultra XL, and Ultra Lead end of the spectrum. All of the Randall tones is one mod. It'll be interesting to see where they go with it. Switchable boost is an interesting feature. They're talking about FX mods too. I would buy a tube reverb module in a freakin flash. Or a tape delay module.

I love my MTS amp. Went thru a bunch of amps this past few years. I made a few upgrades to my amp and play some heavily modded modules but it is so KILLER I am FINALLY HAPPY with my rig.
LOTS of TONE CHASING on my part. glad I am happy!(for the moment)
I really am a gear slut!! :D
But this 'honeymoon' has lasted longer than any other amp I owned, so just riding the wave.

Sold my MTS a couple months ago. Having Major regrets
Come on back........
Door is always open.
I had to walk thru it FIVE TIMES before I knew what a kick ass amp it is!

Oh I definately will be back  I just have a few more stops to make before I get there

Get them out your system........
I stopped at little towns called:

ENGL INVADER
SPLAWN NITRO
METALTRONIX M-1000
FRAMUS COBRA
MESA DUAL REC
various other stops..........

then headed back to the town of RANDALL RM100 MTS LAND!!!

The worst thing about the MTS stuff is the GAS for more modules. That said, with a little work done on em, they sound pretty damn good.

Jim, did you end up getting a Pete SLO module done?

Pete was nice enough to send me one to try. It was impressive. Me bstaley and ratter all dug it alot. That said I would love to hear the Salvado and Friedman versions of an SLO mod. I would also love to hear Pete's highly acclaimed 1086 mod and his XTC mod. I got to try an older version of Pete's XTC mod but I guess he has a new improved one.

Truth be known of all the modded and unmodded Randall modules and all the Eggie modules I tried I still prefer my Friedman Black Eye. The Eggie EG5 and Pete's SLO module were really sweet but the Black Eye is my #1.

I hear ya man. My main one is the HBE/Black Eye module with the BE/C45 Modules right behind. I just got a Friedman SLO and its really cool as are his XTC, and Recto Mods. If your looking for a cool module for chugging away I suggest the Friedman Recto. I like Petes Recto as well, and its more like the real deal. Daves has its own thing going on. If your interested in checking some out, let me know and I'll send a few over next time you guys are all getting together like I did last time.
