Figured No one cares that much but I'm stoked shes finally done.....for now.

Initially I couldn't find a pedal board that was had the dimensions to suit my needs so I made one, and ended up making three more for friends before I was even finished. Simple 10 gauge steel and some welds but it should be durable enough.

My pedalboard is pretty simple and the only thing I'm missing is the new Channel switching pedal for the Ultra and the TC Electronics looper (and probably the new cables that Ive been soldering)

And finally complete in all her glory (or whatever you call it) Peavey Ultra modded with vintage Sovtek transformers, BBE Sonic Maximizer, Korg Pitchblack Pro and a Furman Power conditioner. Can absolutely nail some APMD, Nails, Weekend Nachos, and Xibalba tones, and that's all I wanted her to do.

Have an awesome week dudes.

Dude it looks badass; does it weigh a ton or no?

Surprisingly not as much as you'd think. Its comfortable to move with two people, and Ive never had trouble getting her down or up stairs.

Looks really good and I bet it sounds even better. How do you run the Korg Pitchblack Pro? I just returned one as I couldn't figure out how to bypass the tuner function, like you do with a tuner pedal, by turning it off.

I don't think you can which is a bit annoying, but it gets the job done for now.....and I don't mind the little light show. If it had a footswitch and a bypass function it would be a lot better.

Nice  Are there plans to add more to the rack? Just thinking if you have to move it a 4 space anvil rack will sit onto of the amp head.

There are still plans to put a backup head into the rack space, but for now I'm going to plasma cut some band shenanigans and back light it.

So what's the story on the Black Forest pedal? I've heard they're really killer pedals with kind of fuzz meets od vibe. Is it more of a stand alone pedal, or does it boost an already overdriven well too?

Yeah I don't think you can, but I'm glad it's working for you. It seems like a bit of a glaring oversight to not have a bypass   By the way the face plate you did up for the Ultra looks awesome

Black Forest has ended my quest for a good OTF boost. I can't really explain it I've played everything from a Keeley Mt2 to Maxon, Ibanez, protone, and even a few more boutique boosts and nothing has even come close to how versatile, and how full this makes every amp it sits in front of sound.

As a clean boost its like giving any amp it's balls back, and as an overdrive gives rich creamy leads, and some solid overdriven distortion. And that's only scratching the surface.

Seriously the best $ I have even spent on a pedal as they have some serious mojo.

I've put this in front of a few Marshall's, mesas, peavey, a carvin, and a vht and each had a very unique response but everyone I've let play it for a bit has gone out and bought one and swears by it now.

You won't regret it absolutely versatile, and the most alive I've heard my amp sound.
