ranking my amp collection

1. Diezel Herbert .. best all around amp i love, not just for metal either
2.boogie mark 5.. very solid or juicy I SOLD MY MARK 4 AFTER THIS PURCHASE
3.ENGL fireball 60...if it had the low end of #s 1and2 it would be the perfect amp tone
4.VHT deliverance 60... never ever loses clarity supertight. i cant imagine how loud the 120 watt is, cause this is insane for a 60
5.hughes and kettner warp x.... kinda like the engl,but its my newest,need to play it more
6.Soldano avenger 120... cool looking, plus sounds like a richer 5150II
7.Marshall JCM 2000 TSL ... way too underated, has the best highes on this list
8.Peavey 5150II... a solid workhorse you could drop it from an airplane and still do a tour
9.peavey transfex pro.... an awesome studio head, not great headroom to use live
10.randall warhead... this is cool until you crank it up. effects are terrible.really a practice amp in a head. good for recordind sometimes
11.blackheart... its sounds like malcom young and izzy stradlin in a box
12.epiphone triggerman.. worst attempt at a distotion tone possible. i use it for a metallica clean tone
which amp do u think is best im curious

Where would your rank your mark IV in that list if you still had it? ( I notice its still in the picture). I haven't tried a mark V, very happy with my mark IVA though.

On the Engl Fireball 60, it has a really small output transformer. If you replace the output transformer you would likely get more punch and thump that you are looking for. I had an Engl Fireball 60, it didn't last long. I didn't heed the name and expected a much more versatile amp....
 
the mark iv would be in2end still. it really was out performed by the mark v. it can get the same tone plus way way more.i really had no use to keep the 4 but it would still be second.the engl is my favorite lead amp along with the diezel. thanks for the idea too

Very cool man, you have some super nice stuff!

I own the Deliverance 60 also and it is my favorite amp. Coincidentally I'd love to try a Herbert, Mark 5, and a Fireball sometime :thumbsup:
 
I would move the Avenger up to the #4 spot. But pretty much the same as you have it listed. :rock:

herbert and mark 5 are perfect, but the fireball is a one trick pony

I am set on amps. :thumbsup:

Might want to add another Mark III back to the stable..... ;)

That amp has its own thing going on I havent heard in any other amp.
 
by the way if you want more amps my secret is simple EBAY, im poor as shit but i sell on ebay constantly to build up an acount, then i wheel and deal. sell everything in your house you dont use including dirty underware

the diezel ,its worth it. its actually rediculous.its comical how much you can scoop it.its way too rediculous.the mid level switch sets it apart from any amp in the world

I'd probably rank them the same way... though i haven't spent much time with a V yet.
 
it really is the shit, that and the herbert really a coin toss
 
sweet amps. only one i have not played would be the h&k.
