So this is the big surprise from us for NAMM.

Suhr playability, Suhr sound, Suhr looks... at a much more affordable price point. Can't afford a USA-made Suhr? We decided to come up with a solution. Read all about it here:

No reverse headstock option?

Nice looking guitar, good to see you appealing to a wider audience. Hopefully this will get the Suhr name into more guitar stores throughout the world.

Wow I never saw this coming!! I can not wait for some people here to pick one up! I would love an H-S-H guitar.

If an H/S/H Modern Rasmus with that Gotoh floyd is possible that would be awesome.

You know, I was thinking of this just the other day.

Excellent. I'm hoping that this is a great success for the company and am looking forward to trying one out. I'm hoping that the Rasmus line is like PRS SE line. Great quality at a fantastic price.

Ed Said Street Price would be around 999$

I really would like to know where in asia. I hope it's not China :S

They are not saying so far. On the back of the headstock it's written Assembled in the USA by Suhr.

I wonder if they'll say or not.

I think this is great news man. I don't think I could afford the regular line anytime soon, but its nice to know that you can get into a Suhr for a reasonable price. Not a young up and comer though

This sounds like a superb idea. All the best.

I am sure that it won't affect the American market, but the name is slightly off-putting for me, since it's quite a common name in Northern Europe. And a slightly old one at that. Think of "Arthur" or something like that... Nothing bad, just not something I would want on my headstock.
That and the band "The Rasmus".
This is silly, and vain, I know, but that's just how I feel about it.

Then again... "Dumble" isn't exactly pretty either :D

Oh... So John is Danish?!

Me too.
Awesome!

I came here when I was 2 but I was born in Copenhagen
I'm actually taking the family back for a visit in August
Rasmus was my fathers middle name who passed on and the original name of my family was Rasmussen
A far as the Script resembling something else.... never say it or heard of the band. They will come and go but Rasmus guitars will stick around.
My son starts engineering college next year and is turning into a wicked player as well.
