I'm getting ready for the Line 6 purge. The rax were a great tool to help me find the elements I like in each type of effect (delay, modulation, filter), but the quality just isn't there. I want to scale back to a multi fx unit and of course at the top of my list is the Axe Fx.
The Filter Pro is the only one I am on the fence about. That thing gets pretty out there. I know the Axe can do the formant filter thing, but can it emulate stuff like the Growler or Obi-Wah? I don't suppose anyone has any super fx laden clips of the Axe? I have an M4 en route and am not terribly concerned with the amp and cab sims so much as the fx themselves.
Oh and if anyone thinks I should consider any other multi fx unit options I am all ears.
