I been a follower of this guy for a few years. I really dig this video he made with a VH4 and Les Paul.
Looks like he is on Channel 3.
I Like it.

*Never mind....saw it was channel 4*

Thanks for posting. Seems hard to find decent clips for the VH4 for some reason, but that one was pretty good...good...good...good (lots of delay, though).

Looks (and sounds) like Channel 4, though. Maybe too saturated to be Channel 3.

Yeah....he has alot of delay going on.
Actually bought a couple amps watching his clips.
His Framus Cobra videos are great as well!
But the light on in the background is the 3rd channel right?

*Never mind....just saw that it was channel 4. The last row is the EQ. :D
Been a while since i had my VH4.

What's awesome is that even the rhythm licks he plays sound killer and clear, even with all that delay. Gotta love the VH4. Great player, too.

Yeah......I had the VH4S a few years back. Sold it to get the Herbert.
I really REALLY loved the VH4. :inlove:
Going to get another one again....mine was I think a 2004. Might want to go with the newer version this time around. :D

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayzeus!!!

THAT is what I call a CLIP!!!!

Thanks for posting that Dan. Brilliant beautiful clip!!

What I love about this clip....he shows how FIERCE that amp is....yet how beautiful it just SINGS!
All without switching the channel. :D

Gotta...HAVE TO....GOING TO.....GET ANOTHER ONE!!!

Whaddya think about them "out-of-phase" pups? Notice how they're not opposing? Apparently I think it was either Kossof who gave Peter Green the guitar that had pups like this, then Peter Green passed it on to GM. Not for sure - I've got it all documented somewhere in the vault, but the pups are something I'm interested about - betcha that's got something to do with the added ambiance of that sound.

I've been tempted to flip 'em around in one of my Lesters just to try.

The one in the vid looks to be a later model (black power switch instead of red).

That actually makes me want to find a VH4 to buy.

Just wish they weren't so pricey. Oh well, you get what you pay for obviously. Gotta keep my eyes peeled for a used one...

Let's not forget that guy's got chops that would not only slay 99.9% of the users here on this forum, but probably easily over half the "famous" guitar gods out there in the world of music fame.

Kid's off the hook. If playing like this existed in the 70's, this kid would have knocked Clapton and Hendrix down a notch. But hey, that was then, this is now. Kid's a hot player and throws down like a machine... Betcha he could make any amp sing.

That said - the V is a killer amp, bar none.

Yeah for sure!
Watch his other clips. He is speaking in Thai....but his chops are screaming in ALL LANGUAGES!!
Again.....been a fan of his for a long time. He made me buy my Framus Cobra from his clips.
Think thats the Gary Moore Gibby he is rocking.

Yeah, if I could of got my VH4S to sound that way then I wouldn't have sold it earlier this year.

I heard a VH4 sounding pretty good at NAMM and figured the VH4S would sound the same but I was disappointed with it after I received it (I just couldn't get it to sound the way the VH4 did at NAMM and I spent hours trying to dial it in).

Did the VH4S sound the same as the VH4 to you?

I didn't get the same sound from it so I sold it.

I had to tweak it and was running thru two 4x12's and it sounded pretty similar to the clip (well minus the delay)

VH4S into one cabinet, even if a stereo cabinet, doesn't sound right. Mine at least sounds much better with two separate cabinets. Not sure how you were running it.
