Reason you should not buy music stuff from Amazon

I was excited to see that Amazon had a Matched Quad of JJ EL34's available for same delivery. I was so stoked until it just got delivered 5 minutes ago. Apparently the chump that sent it out thinks a single tube is the new quad. $77 for a single tube . WTF? I called them to let them know that I received a partial order so expect a single back.

Amazon will intervene and take care of you if you need them to. This sort of thing happens quite a bit with individual sellers. My wife on more than one occasion has bought what should have been large quantities of stuff for a decent price and then a seller will send one or two.

that's the seller using Amazon's services, they can't police every seller/item. I think it's the seller that "lied", and you should have some recourse through Amazon.

Only problems I've ever had with Amazon are from 3rd party sellers, which is only a small handful. And, Amazon stepped in and went above and beyond, in all cases. One, in particular, was a case I ordered brand new, and it was obviously used and returned. They refunded me in full, and told me to keep it!

Doesn't get much better than that. But, it also helps that I've placed over 700 orders since 2005. I'm treated like gold.

Amazon is the monster on the verge of taking over industry.

I don't like it but I've bought tons of stuff from them. We have distribution centers in Phoenix. Most items are delivered in a day. Same day many times.

They've got the lowest prices and quickest delivery. I'd hate them if they didn't. I don't like to see one company run everything, but they take care of you, ship quick, and have low prices.

I can tell you I disagree with Bezo's politics so we need to keep an eye on him to see if he has an agenda and is funneling money and influence.

I'm reading this, drinking coffee I ground from coffee beans from, you guessed it....Amazon. Buying everything under the sun thru them since 2003. Never had an issue

Imo Walmart shut down many smaller stores and mom and pops via their sheer purchasing power and ability to dictate price, Amazon on the other hand is giving mom and pops an avenue to keep going by giving them an online outlet to sell their goods through Amazon. That's the way I look at it anyway.
