Only got to see him once (when he and Joel Hoekstra were both playing in Whitesnake) and it was fucking awesome. Always loved his playing

He was instantly a favorite of mine since the first Winger tape. Blown away by his playing.
Headed for a Heartbreak was my song breaking up in a high school era.

But so was Only 17!
?

He had his own style which I really appreciated. I still have all his Guitar World lessons and columns to play through for fun .

Absolute monster. I was lucky enough to tasks. Lesson from him last summer in between tours. Super cool guy. Showed me some great stuff and told me some cool stories.

I had the CD this song was on it was either guitars that rule the world or guitars that rock the world phenomenal CD a lot of great players. I got to see them live they opened up for Whitesnake in 88 I believe and I was just blown away by his guitar solo.

Phenomenal player, however, awesome person. As a complete industry peon, I’ve played a couple shows opening for different bands he was with at that time. Months apart. He was super nice the first show, personable and upbeat. Second show he walks through the back door, sees me, remembers my name and comes over to shake hands. Made a huge positive impression. His solo album, Masquerade, is pretty good, as well. Long live Reb.

2007ish he filled in for Night Ranger after Jeff was fired. He had some chops, but it was kinda funny that he forgot when it was his time to take the lead. They were having fun so it wasnt a big deal
