RockStarNick Active member Dec 23, 2008 #2 That's 100% normal, according to what I've read. I think Bruce posted here, or on TGP, about that. I believe it's not the pot that's scratchy. but it's the sound of something rebiasing or adjusting to the difference in tube mix.

I did talk with Bruce and John at the last LA amp show and that was the first question I had asked and he said it was OK.Hope that makes you feel a little better,I know I'm not Bruce
