Rebel 30 In a Flood - Help!

We had a major storm roll through last weekend and one of the casualties was my basement studio. Guitars all hung on the walls and were saved. Unfortunately, my Rebel 30 combo was directly under the window and acted as a filter for the water pouring in as it passed through the amp and onto the carpet. ARRGGHHH!!!!!

Things are drying out, but I'm afraid to fire the amp up. What should I be looking for as far as damage to the internals other than the obvious mud and muck? Is there a routine for cleaning up the chassis and tube sockets before applying power to the amp? Finally, is it possible to get replacement grill cloth or the whole front panel?

1st off, do not turn it on until it's been inspected. It is very possible that the amp can be salvaged. A tech(or yourself) will need to thoroughly clean the boards with some sort of circuit board cleaner. You may also notice connections and pots been tarnished and intermittent, but that can possibly be fixed as well. It is likely that the amp can be fixed up and be back in working order, but if you've never gone through an amp with water in it, then it's probably best to just take it to a good tech who has. As far as the replacement grill/front panel, just shoot an e-mail to nate@egnateramps.com and tell him what happened. If we have spares in stock, he'll be able to tell you the next steps. But don't worry that the amp is ruined. We salvaged some gear that was completely under water in the Nashville floods a little while back.
 
Thanks for the suggestions! One more quick question - I'm often in the Detroit area on business. Is it possible to drop the amp off to have your techs do the checks and any repairs? I'd feel better if the work was performed by someone who knows the amp and can bring it back to life.
