Hi, this is John,

I would like to know the manufacturer (company) of the original tubes which is used by Egnater factory inside the Rebel 30.

12AX7 tubes :
EL-84 tubes :
6v6 tubes :

and in addition if you have good experiences of trying other company's tubes it will be also good to share your results.

Thank you so much.

John.

Egnater use a mix of tube's, Electro Harmonix, Tung-Sol, Ruby's. My Rebel 30 had Ruby's and Tube Amp Doctor's in when I first got it, I then bought 2 sets of JJ's, Loved the amp so much I swopped it back to the shop I got it from for a Renegade, then had to ebay the tubes lol. JJ are liked for being well made with stable tolerances from batch to batch so would be good for the power tubes, V4 and Phase Inverter positions. Electro Harmonix and Tung-Sol are both used by Egnater and are very good in the V1 V2 V3 positions. Sovtek power tubes would give you a better Marshall tone, Ruby's in the 6V6 side to keep things beautifully clean for the Fender side. My Renegade had Ruby's and Sovtek 5881's in the power side and a mix of EH and Tung-Sol in the pre amp side. I like JJ's for my power tubes, FX and PI. Electro Harmonix for all the other tubes. Tung-Sol are very musical where JJ's are clinical. Electro Harmonix and Ruby's warm with round bottom end and clean mids, Sovtek are aggressive. Decide how you want your amp to sound then play about.

and Hello John.
