I am torn on what to purchase.

The hype and the music celeb endorsements / additions to the cloud plus the awesome tones all put on a pretty good show in favour of the Bias software. But on the cons side of things, their customer service has garnered a reputation of being cold and unwilling to help in many cases along with the stability issues and the rather large CPU usage.

Recabinet / Thermionik 5 is cheaper, apparently very reliable but yet doesn't have some of the bells and whistles and no cloud type options.

Anyone want to discuss?

If you need an all in one package, obviously Bias FX would be a good choice, but Thermionik 5's amp models stike my ear better.

I bought them both. The long and short of this is BIAS AMPS, BIAS FX are piles of shit and positive grid are slimy fuckers. Thermionik and scuffham along with the freeware is the way to go.
