Recent purchase. Was stashed under the owners bed in the case since 1993 after purchased. Charvel Model 2

Wasn't sure I would even like it. Gave it a shot anyways being the story it had. I have found it plays killer and sounds great. As fresh as the day it was put away.
Previous owner bought it, took it home and played a few chords then put it down. It suffered a fall that resulted in the fret board separating part way down the neck. Heartbroken he removed the strings and put it away under his bed for 21 yrs! He recently pulled it out and had it repaired by a good local luthier, then put it up for sale. I had to jump and do not regret it. I wasn't too into these before playing one now.

cool guitar... trem is crap... but an original Floyd fits right on there.

Nice, I don't care for red, but I love that color. It looks ibanez's road flare red. I'd rear route the trem & put in a gotah.

That was my first real guitar. same color too. I saved up all summer to buy it at Main Street Music. Thanks for sharing.

Yuo that was my first charvel as well
Same color.... Everything exact the same

I have two late 80s Jacksons with that tremolo. A little goofy with the fine tuners, but they have never had an issue and keep their tuning as good as when they were new. In fact I bought a conversion kit for one of them that lets one use a modern Floyd arm with the the screw-down clutch. And, you don't need a wrench for the locking nut!

My first real guitar as well!

Mine suffered a fretboard separation and break in my college years. I had a new neck put on but was never really satisfied with it. Since I didn't know about certain things way back then, I ordered a reverse pointy headstock for it but it came in with a narrow string spacing.

I sanded most of the red finish off and basically ass raped the poor thing. I still have the beat to hell parts in a box somewhere minus the broken original neck. If you want them, pay for shipping and they are yours. Not sure they are usable though.
