I had a couple of Squier Strats, one SSS, one HSS. Well a friend of mine custom paints guitars into artwork so I let him paint the two Squiers. When I get them back I'll have art to hang on the wall instead of cheap practice guitars.

Anything you'd recommend on the low end that won't warp into pasta after a couple of months? I was thinking like a Dean Vendetta XM for $99.99

I want something I can leave at my office and won't cry over too much if it gets ripped off. I guess I can go cruise the pawn shops too.

I'm also looking at a Squier 51 at $149.99

Anything by Agile. :)
Well, I would cry if I had my Agile LP stolen, lol. But you're right, for another $50 I could get another Agile LP instead of a Squier. And then I'd keep it locked up at home too and never take it to the office so it wouldn't be a cheap practice guitar.

Hmmm, if you're looking for something THAT cheap, I guess just about any guitar would do.

How about this:

Schecter Diamond series. They have a few of them for $399. I bought a Gryphon from Musicians Friend for that price. It's a great playing guitar. I put better pickups in it and use it to play Korn songs with. I got tired of retuning in between sets, so I bought a cheap guitar to keep in that tuning. I was really inmpressed with the playablility and tone. Fast guitar.
