Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a looper just for practicing over. A couple of my friends have a Line 6 DL4 and a Boss RC-2 and they swear by them for practice tools, but I'll looking for something a little smaller and simpler than either. Therefore the TC Ditto and Digitech Jamman express have caught my eye- although the new Ditto X2 looks like it could be good as well as the extra button simplifies the start/stop process. What would you guys recommend? I don't need a lot of presets or options, even the RC-2 was a bit unituitive for me!

Also, I'm thinking about getting a TC Flashback as well, is the loop function in that pedal decent/intuitive, or just an add on?

Thanks in advance!

If you are really serious about a looper check out the pigtrpnix infinity looper. Its on my wish list.

I have the flashback x4 and the looper is okay, only glitch is you have to turn down the delay mix knob when using it, otherwise you get delay and looping.

Ive been more than happy with my Ditto, however there are occasions where I want a bit more flexability and the ability to save my jams.

The Pigtronix is where it's at, if you have the cash that is.

I'm also running a Ditto Looper. It's tiny, cheap, sounds great & does exactly what I need it to. It's primarily a practice aid for me for soloing & improvising.

The Pigtronix looks cool but is definitely out of my price range- may have to check one out sometime though! Good to hear that the Ditto is being used by some of you guys, it seemed almost too good to be true looking at the size of it!

I got the digitech jamman stereo looper. The four button one. For the money it works really well and has a lot of features. I'm thinking I bought mine for 150?

If you're seriously into looping, I've heard the boomerang is the one to get. Pricey, but as far as features and funtionality, there's nothing that comes close.

I have a Ditto looper and for home use etc. I think it's really nice. However, I would pay the little extra and get the Ditto x2, but it wasn't out yet when I was looking for a looper. The extra button will really make things easier for you, so I would recommend getting the Ditto X2
