Recommend me a Overdrive pedal !

I am thinking about trying out something new.
I am a huge fan of the boss SD-1 in fact thats all i use !

Amps I'm using are:
Langner modded 69 Metal face
Cameron HG Jose PLexi
Fortin modded 5150 III

Amps sound great by themselves but some time I like to push the front end !

What do you guys recommend, I have a couple Keely modded tube screamers also but prefer the SD-1.
Just thinking it would be cool to try something different.

I can recommend one for sure, but that fortin has to be fine without? :confused:
 
I love my Catilinbread dirty little secret. Its a pretty 3D sounding pedal. Otherwise I use an MXR classic overdrive but it is more like you Keeley overdrives.
 
OCD for a fatter tone
the lovepedal superlead is also great in the front of a modded marshall
they work very differently from a sd-1 or screamer and will give you more variety
 
OCD with an already distorted amp for sure. I love mine with my Mark V. doesn't change the eq but adds the extra gain and saturation.

Thanks for the replies ! I notice there are different versions of the OCD, is any one better than the other ? Anyone have experiance with the Rocket Fuel pedal ?
 
The OCD version´s midrange is differently, 1 is very! (most) open and non midrangey, 4 has quite a lot of it...if you like the ocds behaviour and need more gain and openness check the Baldringer Dual Drive, a little better, I think.
