I had one. It was the most bass-heavy JCM 800-type amp that I have ever played. It was pretty cool. It just didn't fit what I was doing at the time.

Had a couple of the MK 60'S over the yrs. Uses a russian pre-amp tube that is wired differently than a 12ax7. 6n2p I think. Lower gain than 12ax7. Had mine converted to 12ax7's. Easy mod. Just have to rewire the tube socket. Properly biased they will eat a jcm 800 alive. Not smooth and silky, think on the verge of destruction. Can't use the eq like a normal head. Anything above 2 or 3 on the volume and the bass will be down in the 2 to 3 range. I personally like when I have to turn down the bass instead of wishing it had more. Uses 6l6's but, I found there was enough sweep in the bias pot to use el34's. Hope this helps.
