I just downloaded a free cab IR to try and use it with an Axe fx.

I have no clue on how to use it. :lol: :LOL:

Can anyone help? :confused:

Do you have a midi interface? Mac or PC? Then we can begin :)

+1 I recently was able to get another Axe Ultra. Got it used and the seller threw in a Red Wirez disc, no clue what to do with it :lol: :LOL: I am successfully connected via M Audio midi sport 2x2 though
 
How to use Axe-Edit with user cab files like Red Wirez

Open AXE-EDIT

Open preset manager

On Left side Click on Cabs Tab

On Right side Click Axe-Fx Tab then Cabs

On Left Side click Source & find Fractal Audio Cab Folder and open desired Cabs file then hit Choose

Drag files from left side to right side. 1 is User 1, 2 is User2, 3 is User 3 etc…

Right click on each file & Save (to source)

Close preset manager

Go back to AXE-EDIT & click on Cab BLOCK. Select the Cab you wish to use that you saved to User 1, User 2, User 3 etc…
