I am retrofitting a Gotoh 1996T into this old early 90s Steve Steven's signature Washburn guitar made in Korea. No one is ever gonna buy it so I may as well just upgrade it with good parts and use it as my main guitar live. I already put a Jazz in the neck and Black Winter in the bridge. It'll be getting the Gotoh tremolo and the black paint is fairly beat up on the back. My luthier buddy is going to spray it at cost assuming I do the sanding and disassembly/reassembly, which is fine with me. I was thinking like a shell pink, maybe a matte finish. I don't have any wild 80s style colored guitars. Doing a zebra print on it may be a bit more time consuming than I want to invest, but a good solid color would be fun. Anyone have some suggestions for cool colors? It has gold hardware with a maple board/neck.
