I'm trying to determine if an Original or Schaller Floyd Rose would be a drop in replacement for Peavey's licensed Floyd Rose? My concern would be whether or not they are similar (identical) in dimensions.

I believe the mounting posts are the same, but if you are putting a Floyd into a Wolfgang type guitar where the licensed Floyd rests on the body, there are other issues.

Titanium is nuts for a Floyd! LESS brittle is better than super brittle!

Dimensions are similar but not the same. The Peavey used a floyd made by Ping which was similar to the gotoh in the fact it had a straight edge on the left side of the base to accommodate many different post spacings. The ofr will work but the only Peavey I've seen with one was used at a local gc. It was a deluxe and someone swapped out the bridge(obviously) to an Original Floyd. It was jacked over to the left(looking down at the top) and rubbing against the left side of the route on the body damaging the finish. It worked but wasn't right
