I would say that maybe it could also be their purchasing options. Maybe they want to use affirm or some form of credit as opposed to paying / sending cash to someone on the internet. They probably feel more protected on reverb regardless with returns or maybe possible damage from shipping carriers. They also don't understand the costs for sellers and how screwed fees and shipping can be when they try to haggle some stupid price, but most importantly they are most likely unaware of the forums as well. I was unaware of for many years lol and I regret it deeply...
