Reverb declares PRS “quiet champion” in the market for used guitars

Now if they'd just build me my 335 with the lightweight bowel tuners and scallops on mickeys ears....

who knew there were so many doctors, lawyers and accountants; and neo soul guitarists.
PRS is on the rise, and holding it's value. If PRS would just take my advice and build a Golden Sky 355 their market share would dominate.

IIRC, a 355 is semi-hollow; PRS makes semi-hollow guitars; what's wrong with these?

What you really need is a D'Angelico full hollowbody Excel Style B:

They aren't a 355. The PRS are pretty small bodied. I thought about trading for one of the cheaper hollow ii's just to try one but they also lack 2 vol and 2 tones and I'm not sinking money into it, only to not like it, and then resell for less since I drilled holes into it. Those D'Angelicos are nice but I can't live without upper fret access. Tried doing that once already and took a hit reselling. Never again. Seems to be a bad habit of mine....

D'Angelico has Excel models with a single or double cutaway, I just like the non-cutaway for the nostalgia of it.

I had one of these in blueburst:

I've heard they are good but that headstock looks like shit and the first thing that'd happen is I'd bust one of those little pieces off banging it on something at a gig. Edwards or Epiphone IBG until PRS makes my Golden Sky.

Hey, when I was a 'jazzer' I had an absolutely wonderful playing and sounding Ibanez AG95FM.

Honestly, wish I had never sold it but that's the way she goes.

Man, at the price I got my PRS at, it's a no brainer.... Hell, I see another killer one on Gear Exchange for like $1700.

An American made quality instrument for less than 2k is pretty solid.

Maybe that's why PRS is doing well currently in the used market, due to not being just lawyer guitar prices anymore?

I think the S2 range really helped them. Some days I'm tempted to sell my cores and just get S2s instead.
