These have been out for a little while now - has anyone had the chance to try one out?

I have one and can’t say enough great things about it. Super versatile, sounds absolutely massive in the room through my Rivera 4x12 and with the Two Notes IRs through my L6 Powercab 2x12. Records very well too and sounds like a much bigger amp compared to other lunchbox heads I’ve owned including the MT-15.

Do you own or tried any other Revv amps? If so how's it compare to its bigger brothers?

That's interesting. How did you think it compared overall to the MT-15?

All the clips sound great. Loud enough for a friendly jam?

Better chimier clean imo, more mean, more clarity, more tweakability especially with the built in Two Notes software, and more personality I’d say overall. SUPER loud for a lunchbox too and certainly more than enough for jamming or gigging no question.

Cool, thanks for the info.

How's it at more classic metal sounds vs. modern super high gain?

Definitely great for classic metal and even hard rock on the standard drive setting I’d say. The aggression mode pushes it into modern territory for sure though.

Btw another benefit that adds to the versatility is being able to digitally change up the tubes in the Two Notes preamp section. I have mine set to EL34s and it gives it a completely different vibe than the stock 6V6’s.

Wrapping up my demo for this guy. It rips pretty damn hard.

This is great to hear!
I play in an 80s hard rock/metal cover band.
