Has anyone tried it with Impulses or the two notes products or the wall of sound?

Not yet but might be getting one to check out so I’ll try it with my Torpedo Studio.

I like it through the mooer. Actually in the last few days I am using it with the gain off as a clean boost through my higher gain models and it sounds killer. Do not like it in the front of my amps so far it has too strong a mid hump that way and I like mids. It would probably sound better in the return like a lot of people are doing. On that clip though it's the blue aggression about 2 o'clock. Glad you like the clip. Definitely keeping the pedal and am still experimenting with it in different setups.

Thank you...............I think you will be happy with the RevvG but maybe if I can I will try the Rev into my Mooer Radar IR pedal directly and see what that does as well and let you know. So far I like the pedal. I would think with the Two Notes Cab you will find good recorded tone.

Please do and let me know! Cheers!

Wow, really gainy but in a good way! I like it a lot! Do u feel it behaves like a real preamp?

Probably could have used a lot less gain lol. I love gain! ? To me it’s a surprise how good it sounds on its own. I am not sure what your criteria is for a real preamp but it acts sounds like a high gain amp in this setup to me

Right now it's either this one or the theta preamp! Either will be used for recording through my torpedo cab. The purple costs 220 euros shipped new and the theta can be found for 180 euros shipped used.

That sounds good. Has a nice bite to it. I think you would be cranking the treble on the Revv G3 maybe. But that has a thicker sound with crunchy highs. I bet with the right IR the Revv could get you in the vicinity of that tone. I don't know about the Theta. I use an ISP sub but no clue about the preamp. I am loving the G3 after this experiment.

Haven't tried the Revv pedals but if you are looking for a preamp to run in two notes I can tell you that the KSR Ceres straight into Wall of Sound is phenomenal. Plus it being two gain channels and a clean makes it super convenient.

Yeah I checked a video and it's sounded really good, however, I live in Greece and I can't find one here in Europe too expensive to have it shipped from the US

Just my opinion but I tried the Revv G3 pedal and returned it the next day. Just did nothing for me.
Tried it through the fx loop of my JCM 800 and direct with IRs.
Just felt flubby to me and I didn’t like the feel / gain structure. I much preferred my ISP Theta pedal but I’m pretty biased there, but it has tons of gain and with the extra preamp stage you can really boost it. Most other preamp pedals I’ve tried like the Revv or Blackstar I needed to boost it with a TS to get it where I wanted it.
