Andy Wood has joined forces with Rhodes Amplification!

He used the Colossus H-100 extensively on his new album with Down From Up and liked it so much we decided to build him one of his own. The Colossus H-100 is going to be a major part of his new live rig. Andy will be putting his new amp through its paces when DFU kicks off their touring April 21st with the HardDrive Live tour.

We're looking forward to an exciting collaboration with one of the most talented guitarists out there, Andy Wood!

Wow, can't better better than getting AW to showcase your amps!

Congrats

Yep Andy is a bad man on the guitar. Congrats all around.

Very cool! Must be some killer amps to get shared time with his Diezels.

Thanks! The rig will be stereo with the Colossus and Herbert for a blended rhythm tone. The cleans and leads will be Colossus only -- then slaved into the Herbert PA for stereo effects and such. He will be using 1 or 2 Diezel cabs loaded with 65s, depending on the size of the gig. There may be tweaks after this initial tour, but that is the plan for now.

One cool thing about his new rig is in the unlikely event either head fails he'll be able to switch into a mono mode for redundancy.

No doubt. I wish I had more time with the amp when I had it, I really wanted to show off some more of the tones that are in there. Lots and lots of possibilities.

Sounds great! Though, don't you have it backwards, as you're the manufacturer and thus, the endorser not the endorsee?

I see what you're saying, but I'm confused. To which post are you referring?
