Ribbed K120 Re-cone?

I cam across a listing for a re-coned JBL K120. Except... the cone has ribs??!? My first thought was that the guy who did it was either a hack, or a fraud, or a hack-fraud, but @Hiwatts-n-Gibsons mentioned comparing some smooth to ribbed EV SRO re-cones and not noticing big differences, which made me think that maybe there are some legitimate JBL re-cones happening with ribs. Anyone have experience with this? @VonBonfire, I know you've had JBLs re-coned. Any with ribs?

Never had any with ribs. Makes me wonder where they got the recone kit. My understanding is that all the kits are E kits. The foam surround looks normal but the ribs...that's new to me. I'm sure someone has had more D's and K's than me that might have some insight....
