I bought the CD a few weeks back in order to help out with Rich's charity and have been listening to it now for about two weeks. It is full of cool instrumentals with a lot of great playing. Unlike many instrumental albums, this is far from a self-indulgent shred-fest. The songs are well written (Rich just has a knack for writing killer hooks) and the guitar playing serves the songs rather than showing off the player's chops (which are still evident...just not constantly pushed in your face). The guitar tones are also great throughout. Overall it's simply a well done, mature effort that's a lot of fun to listen to...what more could you want?

Do yourself a favor and grab a cool album from a fellow Rig-Talk'er while helping to support a great cause...it's a win-win.

For those who aren't aware, Rich is "SkyhighRocks" on this forum.

I bought this a while back as well. Great review of the CD (can we still say CD?  )

It is great, and the fact that it is raising $ for charity is a nice bonus. Pick it up and get some nice Karma points as well ;)

Thank you again guys for the support...it definitely makes it more worthwhile to know that people actually like the music!
