So,I had a guy showing me his new EVH Wolfgang.
He then goes on to say how he buys a EVH Frankenstein pickup
and it wont fit in the pickup cavity because the routing corners are a big radius.(not squared off like most)
The base plate on the EVH Frankenstein is (of course) squared corners.
He is talented enough to remove the base plate and Dremel the corners to fit the cavity.
My "WTF" part of all this is,why in the hell does Fender/EVH sell a pickup that wont even fit in there
own guitars
His thoughts were that they don't want different pickups in there guitars.....DUH
