Released a new "side project" song recently on YouTube. It's instrumental, and I'm really inspired by guys like Keith Merrow and Mark Holcomb. It would mean the world if you check it out!

Gear used (recorded track):
PRS SE277 Baritone - Drop A#
Protone DeadHorse OD
Peavey 6505MH

*used a Mesa mark 5:25 head just for the playthrough video

I really enjoyed this song. The right balance of texture in your playing.

I actually liked that. Thanks for posting!

Why do I sound surprised? Because I am older than you and anything tuned lower than D usually loses my interest in a few seconds, or until the cookie monster starts to sing. Your tune has a groove and melody to it that stays interesting. I will actually probably use that to jam along to this weekend! Still going to stay in E or Eb but might use my Drop pedal to get down there with your tuning.

Since you obviously are skilled with the digital recording stuff, can you bump that tuning up a step or two simply by pushing a button? I would be interested in hearing that tuned a touch higher, if nothing else to invalidate my old guy preconceived notions!

Sounds great. I'm especially digging your snare drum sound. What drums did you use?

Thanks guys for the kind words, it means alot!! The drums are Toontrack EZ drummer 2 Progressive pack - with a ton of compression lol.

Oh and I could send you an "uptuned" version of the song if you would like! Message me on facebook? the link is on the youtube video description.
